Clean-up day: A Sparkling Success!
Trucks literally lined 20th street on Saturday, June 2, as we all pitched in to clear out and clean up. Every year, this day is a shining example of how this neighborhood works: Friends help friends. It's how we finish off last year's business ... and when we start in on summer projects!
Thanks to Bret and Kathy McFarlin, Sherman Hill is coming up
flowers!
The McFarlins took our requests for flowers, combined them
and placed the Sherman Hill order. And one Saturday morning,
while some of us were still snoozing, they delivered flats of
flowers in full bloom. As we thank these dear friends of
Sherman Hill, we also recognize the amount of time they
dedicate to our neighborhood.
Come hear for yourself. City manager Eric Anderson will discuss the impact that street projects will have on our neighborhood. Do join us for this important meeting!
On Tuesday, May 15, the Sherman Hill Association Board of Directors voted to hire Sandra Neff to work for the association.
As Executive Director, Sandra will work a minimum of 10 hours per week. Immediate goals are to add new members, enhance our corporate donation program, and increase awareness of our association and its accomplishments.
Sherman Hill Association membership dues are due.
